Initial ideas for devised piece of dance

Working independently leaves me complete freedom as to the stimulus and structure of the dance although limiting in creative ideas from a different perspective of the theme.

A solo piece allows audiences to become more engaged with the character and their relationship with the stage and viewers because they'd be the main point of focus.

Using a karaoke version of a song to allow audiences to have a wider range of personal perspective and preference on the piece.

Target: Deeper understanding of the narrative and create a structure of the piece with basic choreography, costume designs, lighting, music and mis en scene ideas.
